A loan helped to buy more carrots, French beans and eggplants.

Abizeranye Cb Group's story

Farida is 49 years old and a mother of five children, aged between 9 and 25 years. Her husband is a construction worker and for the past fifteen years, she has been selling vegetables.

She is the leader of the group named Abizeranye Cb, which means “trusted people” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Farida will use her loan to buy more carrots, French beans and eggplants to sell in her community. With the profit from her sales, she hopes to expand her business and also to provide for the family.

She is grateful for the support of the lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members, but Urwego was able to get one representative for the group photo.
