Twisungane Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to use her portion to buy more sugar, matchboxes, soap and salt.

Twisungane Cb Group's story

Marie Providence is a 35-year-old mother of four, ages 4 to 11. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past five years, she's owned a shop.

She's the leader of the group Twisungane Cb, which means “joining together.” Members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

She'll use her portion of the loan to buy more sugar, matchboxes, soap and salt to sell in her community. With profits from her sales, Marie Providence will grow her business. She's grateful for the support of lenders.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego wasn't able to photograph all members, so one representative is standing in for the group.
