Ivan Ignacio's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy various bisque ware figures, such as jars, vases, fruits, horses, and piggy banks, paints, etc.

Ivan Ignacio's story

Ivan Ignacio and his family live in the place called La Pila. Its people are makers of figures in clay, especially pre-hispanic, and other products, which they export to various countries of the world. It is located beside the highway to sell [its products]. Now the majority of the residents have been affected by COVID-19.

Ivan Ignacio buys ceramic figures in bisque ware (pieces of white clay fired to 1050ºC and ready to glaze or decorate with coloring oxides). He buys these in the factories in the sector so that he and his family can give them the finishing touches of paints, decorations, and textures their customers ask for. Then they sell them in their shop, or he goes out in his car to sell in other cities.

At the beginning [of the pandemic], the social isolation left him without work because of the fear of infection, but now he is meeting the biosecurity protocols.

This loan is to buy various bisque ware figures, such as jars, vases, fruits, horses, and piggy banks, paints, etc.

His dreams are to have a bigger shop with more merchandise and for his family to have good health.
