Kadeadra's story

While attending graduate school and starting my career in international trade, I was desperate for a little time dedicated to self-care. I eventually found this dedicated time in a manicure and pedicure every other week. Searching for that perfect salon was difficult- the salons often lacked quality customer service and the inability to provide trendy nail art seen in an influencer's Instagram post. After lacking time to stop by a salon before a girl's trip, I begin to think to myself, how does one bring the busy professional in the same room with a talented nail artist. That's when I developed Millennial Nail Bar (MNB), which brings the nail artist to the customer's location for nail care services. Since launching, we have worked with companies like Google, WeWork, and Nordstrom. After relocating to Tennessee in 2020, I opened a brick-and-mortar version of MNB, which maintains the same quality and convenience of nail care services. MNB has created a home and career for individuals who are often ignored in this $9 billion industry. I have created a Benefits Program that assists MNB nail artists in three areas: Health (medical, dental, and mental), Child Care (early childcare and after-school program), and Life (financial and career advancement). MNB's goal is to assist nail artists in growing in their careers while ensuring customers receive convenient nail care services.
