A loan helped to grow her business.

04 Vicuñitas De Villa Dolores Group's story

The communal bank "04 Vicuñitas de Villa Dolores” is part of the Villa Tejada agency. It is made up of 8 members who are friends and is managed by a board of directors, of which Rosmery is the president.

The loan will benefit micro-entrepreneurs, including Rosmery. Currently, she has a business selling fruit (apples, tangerines, pears, grapes) from her stall. She learned this trade on her own initiative.

The loan Rosmery is taking out will be used to increase capital to purchase apples, tangerines, pears, and grapes in bulk from wholesalers in the city of La Paz, which she later sells from her stall.

This form of employment allows her to generate economic resources. Rosmery is 29 years old and married with children. Her goals are to sell fruit wholesale and for her children to become professionals.

Note: The photograph shows three people due to the COVID-19 health emergency. They did not take a photograph of the entire communal bank in order to avoid a gathering of people.
