Lastenia Leonor's story

Lastenia Leonor is 75 years old. She is a widow with six children, all adults now, who live in the canton of Jipijapa, known as the "Sultana of Coffee," which continues to be greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

She is a tenacious woman who, in spite of advanced age, fights to earn an income for herself so she doesn't depend on her children. She has a little grocery store in her house in which she sells a large variety of basic staple groceries. In spite of the fact that the business is not the same as before, her sales are improving little by little, and she hopes this keeps up. In spite of the the fear of falling ill that she still feels, she keeps struggling to improve life for her family.

This loan is for the purchase of products such as rice, sugar, oil, etc.
