Sor's story

Sor is married and has three children living with him under the same roof in Bakan district, Pursat province. He has spent most of his lifetime dedicated to agricultural businesses, including farming and raising some poultry. Through these businesses, Sor has earned his income from which he has been able to support his daily living. His wife serves as his motivation in these businesses. Sor stands to process his food crop regularly, then more food will be in his food reserve which is an aid in adaptation and mitigation of climate change. Agriculture products processing gives income to his family and improves his family's standards of living.

Because of the shortage of his finance, he has applied for a loan of KHR 8,000,000 to pay for land filling around his house to cover the mud. With this loan support, he can pay for land filling and can provide his family members with a good environment, fresh air, protection from illness and better living conditions. In the future, he aims to renovate his old house and purchase more grocery produce for selling. He sends thanks to all lenders who have contributed their funds to help a poor fellow like him and he believes that through his hard work and perseverance he will be able to attain a better standard of living someday.
