Azucena Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy papayas, peaches, pumpkins, squashes, apples, pears, sugar, plastic containers, among other items.

Azucena Group's story

The group called Azucena is in its sixth cycle as part of the Women’s Committee Program. They are also a part of the poverty elimination program where they all fight for a better future for their loved ones.

Florentina is one of them. She makes and sells homemade sweets. She mentions that her work has allowed her to be able to give her family better living conditions. She is a self-sacrificing person who searches for a way to be able to go on giving the best to her loved ones so that they don't go without anything. She is grateful for the opportunity she receives to be able to continue with her work as she has been doing.

She is asking for this loan to buy various products to make her sweets, such as papayas, peaches, pumpkins, squashes, apples, pears, sugar, plastic containers, among other items.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent crowding of people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
