Fe Y Esperanza Group's story

This group is called "Fe y Esperanza" [faith and hope]. It was formed by women who are heads of their families, who fight for a better quality of life for their loved ones, so that they do not lack necessities. They also are included in the program for the elimination of poverty.

One of them is Gerarda, who works as a dressmaker. She is a self-sacrificing person who who fights for a better quality of life for her family. She does all types of sewing, and says that this has gone very well. Her goal is to be able to continue with her work, to continue helping to provide for her household and her loved ones. She appreciates the opportunity she received to be able to continue with her work, and so to achieve her goals and objectives.

She requests this loan to buy fabric, thread, elastic, and other products, to be able to continue with her work as she has been doing.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo, to avoid gathering people during the Covid-19 pandemic.
