A loan helped to pay for land fill around her house.

Narak's story

Narak is a 26-year-old experienced farmer from the Kaoh Thum district of Kandal. She lives with her spouse and a a school aged child, who completely depend on her income. Narak is engaged in growing rice and raising poultry at home to cover her family's needs. Narak and her spouse help each other manage their rice farm to ensure high crop yields in each harvest season. They have been in this business for nearly three years. Farming is an important source of her family’s income. Good results from previous years have encouraged Narak to try harder to go far in her projects. With her perseverance, she plans to educate her child up to college because she wants to see her child become professionals one day. Narak's husband also works as air conditioner repairer to earn additional income.

Because of the shortage of her finances, she has applied for a loan in the amount of 4,000,000 KHR to pay for land fill around her house. With this loan, she can provide her family members with a good environment and fresh air, protecting them from illness and providing good living conditions. In the future, Narak aims to renovate her old house and purchase more land for agriculture purpose. She sends thanks to all kind lenders for helping her family and promises to pay back the loan on time.
