01_Randoulene Sud Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy the ingredients necessary to make fruit juice for resale.

01_Randoulene Sud Group's story

This group is made up of 4 hardworking women and is part of a "banc villageois" established in the area in May 2009. They all live in the same neighbourhood and enjoy very good social and professional relations. They are used to the loan process and have already repaid several loans in a timely manner. Their main activity is retail.

Fatou, standing on the right of the photo and raising her hand, is the group representative. She is 35 years old, married, and the mother of 3 children (1 girl), all of whom attend school.

Fatou sells fruit juice. She buys her ingredients from the wholesalers and resells her juice at the market, where she has a shop in which she makes her juice. She has been in this line of work for over a decade.

She will use her loan to buy bags of monkey bread (baobab fruit), sorrel, sugar, milk, and other ingredients with which to make good juice. She sells her juice without difficulty to a loyal customer base.

Her profits enable her to build her savings, to support her husband with the family expenses, and to pay for her children's education.
