Heritiana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy piglets, broiler chicks, and feed.

Heritiana's story

Heritiana is 44 years old. She is separated and is raising her child alone. She lives in a rural village in the family home. She is a teacher. To add to her income, she is a small retailer and also raises livestock. She fights hard so that she can succeed and accomplish her big plans for the future. She is one of Vahatra's borrowers. She and her child also benefit from Vahatra's mutual health care scheme.

She has taken out loans to steadily develop her business activities. She tries hard to build some savings with her profits. She used her last loan to sell maize. She invested her profits in the purchase of several piglets. She is asking for the lenders' support so that she can buy more piglets for her herd as well as some broiler chicks and some feed. Her products go to direct sellers.

She is determined to keep expanding her livestock farming activities and is counting on the lenders for their support.
