but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped pay for labour and buy pesticides.

Asobora Kiswaza Group's story

Annet ventures into farming growing various crops, including maize, pineapples, oranges, cabbages, carrots, and many others. She is married and works together with family. She also operates a retail shop around the area as her side source of income.

Annet belongs to a group called Asobora Kiswaza Group which is comprised of both male and female members. This group was formed by members who came together with the same goal of improving their standards of living. They co-guarantee each other in order to get financial support from a financial institution. This has helped each one of them to start various sources of incomes which has helped them get money.

However, Annet faces challenges of pests and diseases, prolonged drought, and inadequate capital to pay for labour and pesticides. She has therefore requested a loan to pay for labour and buy pesticides.
