Rhoda's story

Rhoda is a 42-year-old woman who is married with three children and they live in a community in Honiara, capital of Solomon Island.

She runs a small marketing business selling ring cakes, betel nuts, leaf and lime at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for five years.

Rhoda has requested a loan to pay for additional flour, sugar, betel nuts and cigarettes to assist her with her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2015 to gain access to financial services.
