Pdc 143 Tan-Awan Women's Associaion Group's story

Dorcas is 68 years old, married and the president of CTR 134 Tan-awan Women’s Association which helps her members to earn a living. Dorcas has been a member of NWTF for 13 years now; she earns a living by raising pigs and farming vegetables. She is a business minded person who she counts every peso that comes out of her pocket. She also manages funds that NWTF entrusted her to make a profit and also pay their obligation.

Dorcas knows her members very well because of the many years that they have been together in the centers. Each member runs their own business like pig fattening, farming vegetables, general store, etc such that it’s doing great.

Dorcas is requesting a loan to purchase additional piglets, sacks of feed and vitamins for her pigs. She hopes that this project will continue and more members will be benefit from and help the community by encouraging them to join NWTF. She sees each member very happy counting their profit and improving their business.

Dorcas still continues to encourage other members of NWTF to join the group to improve their living.
