Joanita's story

Joanita is 55 years old and she is married with eight children. They live in a community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island.

She owns and operates a small general store business selling rice, noodles, canned foods and biscuits in her community to earn a living. She has been in this business for four years.

Joanita has requested a loan to pay for additional rice, noodles, biscuits and mixed goods to increase her stock and assist her in running her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's weekly expenses and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2015.
