Divino Niño Jesus Group's story

This group is included in the program of the women's committee. They have set the goal to be able to grow, not only economically, but also personally, in order to be able to help their families.

One of them is Fatima, who works making and selling "chipas" [cheese bread]. She is a determined and enterprising person who, despite difficulties, does not let herself be defeated. She says that she has Down's syndrome, but this has not been an impediment to working and earning income needed to be of help to her family. She says that she never gives up, and she seeks the means to continue with her work and to improve.

She requests this loan to buy raw material to make her "chipas", such as flour, starch, cheese, eggs, butter, and other items. She appreciates the opportunity that she receives to be able to continue with her work and also to please her customers.

Note: Although there is only one person in the photo, this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo, to avoid gathering people during the Covid-19 pandemic.
