Abizerwa Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more cassava, cooking oil, rice, and meat.

Abizerwa Cb Group's story

Christine is a 36-year-old mother of three children between the ages of 1 and 9 years old. Her husband is a businessman, and for the past six years, Christine has owned a restaurant.

She is the leader of the group called Abizerwa CB, which in English means “trusted people.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Christine will use her loan to buy more cassava, cooking oil, rice, and meat to sell in her restaurant to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to increase her savings.

Christine is thankful for your support.

'Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members. The photograph is of Christine, the group representative.'
