Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase raw materials to make the food to sell and begin a new undertaking.

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

The group named Mujeres Emprendedoras is in its fifth loan cycle with the women's committee program. The majority work in different businesses, commercial and in services.

One of them is Cinthia, who works selling milk and making cheese. She is a humble and hardworking person who fights for her family through her work. Despite the daily difficulties, she struggles to improve herself, specifically despite the problem she has since she is deaf. This does to limit her ability to work and generate the income her family needs.

She states that she has a project she wants to begin, which is selling food. She asks for this loan to purchase raw materials to make the food to sell and, with this, to be able to generate more income for her family.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
