Hagurukukore Cb Sub Grp A Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more charcoal.

Hagurukukore Cb Sub Grp A Group's story

Alphonsine is a 45-year-old mother of two children who are 19 and 25 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past seven years she has been selling charcoal.

Alphonsine is the leader of the group called Hagurukukore Cb Sub Grp A, which in English means “Stand-up and work.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Alphonsine will use her loan to buy more charcoal to sell in her community to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for her family and also to pay school fees for her children. Alphonsine is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members. The photograph is of Alphonsine, the group representative.
