Mujeres De Luz Y Esperanza Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy corn, butter, eggs, and a couple of pans to sell roast corn; another part of the loan will be invested in food for her small farm of pigs and goats.

Mujeres De Luz Y Esperanza Group's story

Meet the "Mujeres de Luz y Esperanza" [Women of Light and Hope] association, managed by Pro Mujer in Matagalpa, Nicaragua.

Paula Adilia (first on the right with a beige sweater) is 62 years old and the featured borrower. She is a woman who is always ready to work. Her husband, with whom she had 11 children, makes a living in agriculture.

A new loan will allow Paula Adilia to buy corn, butter, eggs, and a couple of pans to sell roast corn. Another part of the loan will be invested in food for her small farm of pigs and goats.

Paula Adilia is grateful for providing them with a loan and an opportunity to change the reality of these enterprising women.

Invest in a woman, transform lives!
