Bethel Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 300 pieces of corn, 25 pounds of sugar, cheese, anise, cinnamon, corn, firewood and beans to make tamales, güirilas (tortillas made from white corn), tortillas and chilaquiles (A layered dish of fried tortillas, cheese, chicken, and tomato sauce).

Bethel Group's story

This is the Bethel association, managed by Pro Mujer in Leon, Nicaragua. They have worked for 4 loan cycles with convenient funding to lift their businesses.

Tomasa Griselda (in the middle, wearing a purple blouse and shorts) is the lead client. A proactive woman, responsible, punctual and very formal. For years she has sold corn-based products, a business with which she has supported her children. The youngest is taking his fourth year of System Engineering. She defines herself as a determined woman who loves progress.

Today she needs a loan to buy 300 pieces of corn, 25 pounds of sugar, cheese, anise, cinnamon, corn, firewood and beans to make tamales, güirilas (tortillas made from white corn), tortillas and chilaquiles (A layered dish of fried tortillas, cheese, chicken, and tomato sauce).

She in convinced that you always have to be positive, even when things don’t go well, to get up and continue forward.

Invest in a woman, transform lives!
