Mujeres Activas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy supplies like flour, oil, vegetables and meat.

Mujeres Activas Group's story

The “ MUJERES ACTIVAS” communal bank, as part of the Agencia Uyuni, has eight members. It is directed by a board of directors where Maria Cristina is the president.

Maria Cristina is 40 years old. She is married and she has four children. At this time, she has a food business. She says she learned this business thanks to her mother who taught her.

The loan that she is taking out now will be used for increasing the capital to buy supplies (oil, flour, vegetables, meat) which she will acquire from wholesale vendors. This form of work allows her to generate income to support her family economically. Her dream is to open a location where she can sell food and above all, to be healthy and to have a house.
