Productores Unidos El Chamorro Group's story
Jairo is 36 years old, father of three children, and a farmer. He started working as a producer of basic grains from the age of 15 with the help of his uncles, with whom he sowed half since they owned the land and began to work on his own at the age of 23, renting land to establish his own crops. He has other income from the fattening and sale of pigs. He will establish 2 first-class bean lots where he projects yields of 20 quintals per lots and 2 corn lots with a yield of 50 quintals, for which he requests a loan in Fundenuse with Kiva funds for the purchase of agricultural inputs. His aspirations are to buy his own land to continue in agriculture. He belongs to the solidarity group “Productores Unidos del Chamarro” along with Juan Aytofel, Florencio and Juan Pablo, where all of them work in the production of basic grains.
