A loan helped to expand her business.

04 Las Caseritas Group's story

The “04 Las Caseritas" communal bank is a part of the Agencia Villa Tejada. It is made up of nine members who are friends and is led by a board of directors, of which Eulalia is the president.

The loan they will take out will benefit the microbusiness woman, including Eulalia. At this time, she has a business making shoes in her home. She reports that she learned this trade through her husband and they started their business three years ago.

The loan they will take out now will be to increase capital by buying suede, rubber soles and fabric glue. She will acquire these things from wholesalers in the city of La Paz. Afterwards, she will manufacture the shoes and sell them in her sales space, which is in her home.

This work allows her to generate income. She is 30 years old, married and has two children. Her goals are to increase her shoe manufacturing materials, expand her workshop and build on her land to make things comfortable for her children.

Note: There are only three people in the photo due to the COVID-19 public health crisis. That is why no photo was taken of the communal bank, to avoid the gathering of people.
