Cecelia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more slippers, cream and other items to sell.

Cecelia's story

Meet 38-year-old Cecelia. She is married and has 3 children, they live at home. Cecelia attended school up to 7th grade. Her husband works as a builder to earn extra income.

Cecelia deals in a business selling slippers, cream and other items. She learned how to sell from her mother and started the business with her own little savings. She uses a car to transport supplies to her business site and faces no problem with her business. She sells Monday through to Saturday and has had this business for 4 years.

She likes her business because it makes her an independent woman.

To maintain her business, Cecelia applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia and KIVA Field Partner to buy more slippers, cream and other items to sell to her good clients.

She wishes to say thanks to BRAC and KIVA.
