Katty Jasmin's story

Katty Jasmin is 45 years old, she is a single mother of two children; one is of legal age and independent and the youngest is 14 years old and is studying at school. They live in their own home in Portoviejo: a city affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016 and now with the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is a large producer of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for consumption.

Katty Jasmin prepares snacks from her own home to sell for all occasions such as meat balls, fried cheese sticks, empanadas, and special cakes made with flour and filled with chicken, raisins, hard-boiled eggs, wine, and olives. These are delivered freshly fried or not fried, according to the client's needs.

At the beginning of the health crisis, it was very bad for her as she could not make sales. However, little by little she is reopening her business in order to continue generating income. This loan will be used to buy chicken breasts, raisins, eggs, flour, cold cuts, cheeses, oils, etc. Her dream is to have a place to continue with her sales and that her family stays in good health.
