Bella Marina's story

Bella Marina and her family live in Rocafuerte, known far and wide for its traditional artisan sweets, made from recipes passed generation to generation, and for growing rice.

On the patio of her house, Bella Marina has a small enclosure for chickens, which she sells when they reach a good weight. Merchants come to her house to buy them. She also sells Avon products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfume, women's accessories), steel jewelry, clothing for children. She sells door-to-door and also in her house where she has some display cases.

The health crisis at first was very bad for her because she could not sell, but now gradually she is reactivating to be able to continue earning income.

This loan is to buy balanced feed, corn, vaccines, free-range chickens, costume jewelry, pajamas, t-shirts, etc. Her dream is to have a farm to raise chickens and that her family will have good health.
