Tutashinda Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on 12 pairs of pagne pants to strengthen her initial capital.

Tutashinda Group's story

Pelagie is a Hekima client and chairs the "Tutashinda" village group. She is married, 50 years old, and mother of six children, all of whom attend school. Her partner is unemployed.

Pelagie sells clothing. She launched this business 20 years ago with start-up funds received from her husband. Later, she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, over the course of which she has gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will stock up on 12 pairs of pagne [traditional cloth] pants, which will strengthen her initial capital. Her business faces no problems.

She would like for her children to continue their studies. Finally, she wants to thank Hekima and its partners for their support of non-bankable business owners in the context of the global crisis linked to COVID-19.
