Marilis Clemencia's story

Marilis Clemencia and her family live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the April 16, 2016 earthquake and now by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Due to the pandemic, Marilis Clemencia had to change her business. Now she is selling sets of sheets, and preparing and selling ceviche, home-made sweets, and egg nog for delivery to homes. With some of her clients, she sells on credit and collects weekly.

The health crisis at first was very bad for her because she could not sell, but now she is reactivating to be able to generate income for her family.

This loan is to buy milk, eggs, sugar, disposable containers, sets of sheets, etc. Her dream is to have her own shop and that her family will have good health.
