A loan helped to buy clothing merchandise.

Tika Ca Group's story

Jeanneth lost her father to a traffic accident as a baby. She began working at 9 years old by selling candy, and she could not attend school due to a lack of money in the household. She had male siblings, and her mother decided that only the boys could go to school.

Now, Jeanneth has a clothing business, which she sets up in various markets. She is a single mother and cares for her children on her own because their father does not look after them nor does he pay child support.

Jeanneth is requesting a loan to increase her merchandise and to buy a larger quantity of clothing so that she can give her children a better quality of life.

Due to the pandemic, there are only three persons in the photo because of social distancing requirements. On the right, in the brown sweater and hat is Eusebia, the treasurer; in the middle in red is Jeanneth, the president; and on the left, in the light-colored blouse is Maribel, the secretary.
