A loan helped to buy an efficient kitchen set.

Tomasa's story

Señora Tomasa is from the city of Santaní. She is an independent merchant and earns a living selling "chipas", which are a traditional Paraguayan food that are eaten at all times and kept in a cloth. She also sells soup and bread.

She says that through means of her job she has helped to sustain her family. She heard talk of the efficient kitchen program as a way to ration energy use and be economical.

She asks for this loan in order to purchase an efficient kitchen set, which consists of a set of pots and an electric hot plate.
