Pierre Frentz's story

I am an American citizen who was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. As a young boy, I had a burning passion to learn the English language. I would even trade meals in exchange for English training, even though I grew up often hungry. My parents passed away during my childhood and I needed to step up and provide for myself and my five younger siblings as a young teenager. I became an entrepreneur for the first time by creating jewelry to sell to foreigners who visited my country. My mind continued to seek creative ways to earn an income to feed myself and my siblings and to finish school. I am passionate about business and job creation, and how these two things can help bring people from my birth country out of abject poverty. I love giving back and empowering people to use their gifts to be successful. I am passionate about being a life-long learner and improving my skills every day. I speak three languages, I am a photographer, nonprofit director, and entrepreneur. I am blessed to live in Orlando with my wife and our two young sons.
