Ednah's story

Greetings from Kapsowar, Kenya!

This is Ednah (35), a mom who is a picture of beauty and has a captivating smile. She is the true definition of a hard worker and a happy mother. She is a farmer in Kapsowar, an area endowed with natural streams. She engages in crop and dairy farming, and produces milk for commercial use.

Ednah also grows maize for food and sales. These commercial activities place her in a better position to engage in other agricultural businesses, which she does. She dreams that through farming she will be able to pull away from poverty and see to it that all her children successfully complete their studies. She is visionary and eager to ensure that she keeps progressing.

Juhudi Kilimo, in partnership with Kiva, has extended its services to the remote areas in the Kapsowar region of Kenya, and their staff is keen to ensure that hardworking women like Ednah benefit from loans that enable them to purchase farming inputs. She is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs such as seeds and fertilizer.

Your loan will enable Ednah to improve her production through the use of quality farm inputs. Through this intervention, she will be able to improve the quality of her farm products and attract more buyers, leading to more profits. Support her this year and make her life bright!
