Amon's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to open a second general store in the refugee camp.

Amon's story

Amon is a Rwandese business enthusiast who runs a general store near the Kiziba refugee camp. He sells different homeware items, such as utensils and cutlery. He is a husband and a father of five children.

The business benefits refugees and the host community because it provides the products at an affordable price. He works hard every day to make his business the best in the community. He attended the AEC/Inkomoko training so that he can acquire bookkeeping skills which have enabled him to keep track of the business progress.

Due to the pandemic, it was hard for refugees to access his products due to movement restrictions inside and outside the camp. He is requesting a loan to open another general store inside the camp so that it can benefit refugees to have easy access to his products.
