Jenifer's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cerealss (beans and maize) to sell in her village market and, as a mom, use the profits to support her family.

Jenifer's story

Hello, special people!

Jenifer is a 45-year-old mother living in Bungoma, a town surrounded by prime agricultural lands that favor large-scale crop farming. She feels happy to share her profile on this platform in this month of supporting women. Jenifer is a mother who truly adores her children, for whom she has had to go through many adversities in her life.

As a result of the fluctuation of prices for crops and the change in industrial trends, Jenifer has sought a way out. She has decided to start selling cereals in her local market. However, with her small savings, she is unable to purchase different varieties of cereals such as corn and beans. Her family will benefit from this loan since she will elevate their standard of living. This loan is therefore an opportunity that she never had before. Her irregular income and lack of collateral security were the main drawbacks limiting access to a loan in commercial banks.

Thanks to Juhudi Kilimo and Kiva, the lives of Jenifer and her family will be changed through this loan.
