Abizerwa Acb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more sugar, cooking oil, maize flour and beans.

Abizerwa Acb Group's story

Catherine is a 60-year-old widowed mother of four children aged between 22 to 40 years. For the past twenty-six years, she has owned a grocery store.

She is the leader of the group named Abizerwa ACB which, in English, means “Confidence People.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Catherine will use her loan to buy more sugar, cooking oil, maize flour and beans to sell in her community and to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for the family and also increase her savings.

Catherine is thankful for your support,

Due to the global pandemic Urwego was not able to photograph all the members but Urwego was able to get one representative for the group photo.
