Rumsiah's story

Good day lenders!

Meet one of KBMI’s clients, Rumsiah. She is 50 years old, married, and has one son and one daughter. Rumsiah and her husband run a business selling fried rice. One of her children is still in school. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their family is the implementation of school from home that uses an online system. This made it difficult for their child to access the course materials and send assignments to the teacher.

She has applied for a loan of 3,000,000 IDR from KBMI to buy a smartphone for her child’s education needs. Her income is not sufficient to buy a smartphone, but she will be able to repay the loan received by using the profits generated from her business.

Rumsiah is a very hardworking mother who always strives for the best for her children, to improve their living conditions, and to create a happy life. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all the lenders.

Note: The boy in the photo is Rumsiah’s son, who is still in school.
