A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her sales of milk to a local factory.

Shirin's story

Shirin is 30 years old, married, and raising 4 children. She has a high school education. Her main source of income for her family has been raising cattle and growing crops since 2011. Thanks to her hard work, today Shirin has 7 cows, 2 horses, as well as 0.47 hectares where she grows organic beans. She has an agreement with a local factory to sell her organic milk to them for further dairy processing. This enables her to continuously reinvest in her own business.
When Shirin learned that she can get a loan from Bai Tushum Bank backed by her future contract, she asked for a loan of 200,000 KGS. This helps her buy more dairy cows and increase her sales volume of milk. The factory's payment will come directly to Shirin's bank account, with her loan repayments automatically deducted to Kiva. The earnings from this loan will help her further improve her farm.
