Tres Islas Group's story

"Tres Islas" is a group of seven members, going into its second loan cycle. The board of directors is led by Enith and includes a secretary and a treasurer. Due to the pandemic, only these three are in the photo.

Enith, age 27, is the single mother of two daughters, ages five and three years. They are her motivation to get ahead. For more than five years, she has worked in agriculture, harvesting cacao. In the future, she wants to continue saving, to invest in the purchase of more hectares to increase her land.

At this time, she requests a loan to invest in maintaining her cacao fields. She wants to improve them, in order to have a good harvest and to offer good-quality products to her clients. Her principal source of income is her cacao harvest. She considers herself to be a hardworking, kind, and determined woman, with much desire to continue strived to meet her objectives and to provide her daughters a better quality of life.
