A loan helped to purchase sheep to resell later.

Nyeta Group's story

Bakary is the gentleman holding the sheep in the photo. He is an illiterate Malian, 46 years old, married, and the father of six children. His children are aged 10 to 22, and four of them are in school. His wife has a small-scale business selling rice.

A credit-worthy customer of RMCR, he raises sheep and has been in this business for over seventeen years. He turns to RMCR to purchase many sheep. Then he can earn more in profit for cover family expenses, including school fees, healthcare, and clothing for the children.

He stocks up at the markets near his town and frequently resells at distant markets. He often encounters problems involving poor sales. In the days to come, he plans to obtain a bigger loan for improving his business and to do better at meeting family needs.
