La Sonrisa Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pork in bulk, ingredients for 70 nacatamales, bananas, cabbage and other supplies for her food stall.

La Sonrisa Group's story

Meet La Sonrisa, a Pro Mujer community association, which is made up of nine clients with an excellent credit record. These entrepreneurial women run businesses such as selling clothes, grocery stores, fast food stalls etc. They plan to use the new loan as working capital, increasing inventory for the summer season.

Karla Vanessa (first on the left) is 31 years old. She is the secretary and is a creative and enthusiastic woman. Her partner works in construction and they have nine children. Her dream is to see her business grow so that she can provide her family with better opportunities. Today she needs a loan to buy pork in bulk, ingredients for 70 nacatamales [maize, meat and rice wrapped in banana leaves], bananas, cabbage and other supplies for her food stall. Her business is an important means of substance for the family.

They are counting on you to help them get ahead!
