Kolopa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy mulberry bark for her tapa making business.

Kolopa's story

Kolopa is a 45-year-old mother of seven children. Her husband is a government worker, and they live at their own home. Kolopa joined a group of women in their village, where they work together in making tapas (patterned cloth made from the bark of the mulberry tree). They gather once every week and make tapas. Kolopa also prepares soft tapas and sells it out to some women in the group who need it because they don't have time to prepare their soft tapas. It brings extra money into Kolopa's pocket.

She used the SPBD loan as a financial security for her loan. Kolopa applies for a loan to buy mulberry for her business. She needs more because not only does she make tapas but she also sells out soft tapas.
