Jennifer's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped a minority and women-owned business to grow and become successful.

Jennifer's story

I started this business with the idea of providing authentic Mexican products in the U.S. Raised in a very hispanic household, rice, beans, and charcoal were must ingredients when we prepared weekly "carne asadas" at home. I can still remember the smell of mesquite charcoal burning on the grill. My momma always had home made, beans and Spanish rice to occupany our carne asada. As I got older, I always remembered these little details as something important in my life. It's the reason why I focused on providing these goods to those who share a similar story to mine. It motivates me knowing that the products I sell came from small tribes and indigenous groups in Mexico but also that the people who consume and use our products are actually receiving authentic product from Mexico. My business provides employment to the people who need it the most and its the reason I keep moving forward.
