Eda Del Socorro's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy tables, chairs, tablecloths, and salt-shakers.

Eda Del Socorro's story

Tacos, enchiladas, tortas de papa (made with potato), and tajadas (plantains) with cheese are all included on the varied menu that Eda offers in her fritanga (small restaurant that serves home-style Nicaraguan food). She has worked extremely hard to get her family ahead, relying on the support of her son who is fundamental in helping her achieve each goal she sets.

Previously, she relied on loans from MiCredito, funded by Kiva, to successfully boost her other business, a small convenience store, and to buy supplies for her fritanga, which she runs on weekends.

To keep growing her business, she is requesting a loan from MiCredito and Kiva to buy tables, chairs, tablecloths, and salt-shakers for her fritanga. This way she can improve the service offered and comfort provided to all her customers.

In the not-too-distant future she wants to build a space for her fritanga.
