Twungubumwe Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more Irish potatoes, plantains, and carrots.

Twungubumwe Cb Group's story

Beatrice is the 37-year-old mother of five children aged between 5 months and 12 years old. Her husband is a motorist, and for the past six years she has owned a food stall.

She is the leader of the TWUNGUBUMWE CB group, which in English means “Unite.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Beatrice will use her loan to buy more Irish potatoes, plantains, and carrots to sell in her community to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for her family and pay her children's school fees.

Beatrice is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members. The photograph is of Beatrice, the group representative.
