Abatanyuranya Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more beans, cooking oil, maize flour, and sugar.

Abatanyuranya Cb Group's story

Denise is a 41-year-old widowed mother of three children, who are between 13 and 23 years old. For the past six years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

She is the leader of the group called Abatanyuranya CB, which in English means “People with the same direction.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Denise will use her loan to buy more beans, cooking oil, maize flour, and sugar to sell in her community, and to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for the family and also provide school fees for her children.

Denise is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members. The photograph is of Denise, the group representative.
