Edith's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farm inputs, such as seeds and fertilizers which she will use to expand her production and make more income for her family.

Edith's story

Women make a very major contribution in a country’s development and this explains why the world is preparing to celebrate International Women’s Day. Edith, who is 40 years old, lives with her family in Litein, a town where the main economic activities include agricultural processing, particularly in horticulture and tea.

Edith is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs, such as seeds and fertilizer. This loan will enable her to improve her production through the use of quality farm inputs. As a result, she will help meet the increasing demand for food in the marketplace, generate more income to repay the loan, and improve her family's quality of life. She also hopes to improve the condition of her house. Support her at this time when the Covid-19 pandemic has affected food systems, food security, and agricultural livelihoods.
