Abakundanye Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more sodas, rice, sugar and beans.

Abakundanye Cb Group's story

Clementine is a 37-year-old mother of four children who are between 4 and 18 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past four years she has owned a grocery store.

She is the leader of the group called Abakundanye CB which in English means “People Who Have Loved Each Other.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Clementine will use her loan to buy more sodas, rice, sugar and beans to sell in her community, and to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for the family.

Clementine is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members. The photograph is of Clementine, the group representative.
