Shoira's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her business by purchasing more fruit to sell and getting a good profit.

Shoira's story

In this photo is a purposeful and strong woman, Shoira, who has endured many difficulties in life. She was born in 1978 in Zafarabad, Tajikistan. She is a divorced woman with three children.

After 10 years of married life, her husband left for Russia to work and never came back. He left his family and married a Russian woman. This was a severe blow to poor Shoira. She did not know how to feed her children. Her children started to get sick from hunger and she borrowed 2,000 TJS from her sister and bought children’s clothes to sell. She started making good profits, but suddenly her youngest child became seriously ill and she spent all her savings on medical treatment. Despite all these difficulties, she re-started her fruit business.

She is a returning and diligent client with a positive credit history. She is asking for a loan with Kiva’s partner IMON for the ninth time. This loan will help her expand her business, purchase more fruits to sell, and get a good profit.

She really hopes for your financial support because you are her last hope for a secure life.
